Kean Nakamura-Berta to Make Single-Seater Debut in Italian F4, Euro 4, and UAE F4 Championships with PREMA for 2024

Infinity Sports Management is pleased to announce Kean Nakamura-Berta’s 2024 drive in the Italian F4, Euro 4, and UAE Championships with renowned Italian racing team PREMA.

Japanese-Slovakian teenager, Kean Nakamura-Berta, has landed the prestigious drives across three Formula 4 series with the multi-championship winning PREMA team for this year.

Kean enters his first season of single-seater racing following an impressive career in karting where he earned himself the 2021 FIA Karting World OK Champion and 2022 FIA Karting European OK Champion titles. His journey with PREMA began in 2023 as the outfit signed him for the FIA Karting World Championship in which he finished 3rd in the OK category.

Furthermore, his talent and achievements have been recognised by the Alpine Academy as they took him under their wing as an affiliate driver at the beginning of the 2022 season. This partnership gives the 16-year-old use of BWT Alpine F1 Team’s facilities in Enstone, England - an invaluable opportunity to further develop and shape his on-track abilities.

Joining forces once again with the prominent team, Nakamura-Berta said, “I am really excited to join PREMA for F4. Having represented their colours in karting last year, it feels fitting to continue the journey into the first steps of single seaters with them.

“Seeing their achievements until now, I have high hopes for the season to come and I can't wait to get started!”

Kean Nakamura-Berta’s 2024 season will get underway on May 5th at the FIA Italian F4 Championship’s first round at Misano, Italy. The two series’ provisional calendars feature 10 events staged at renowned Grand Prix circuits with 30 races total. They will contest Misano, Imola, Vallelunga, Mugello, and Monza in Italy, as well as Paul Ricard, France, Barcelona, Spain, and Red Bull Ring in Austria.

The FIA United Arab Emirates F4 Championship will begin at Yas Marina and conclude at Dubai Autodrome, visiting each circuit between January 10th and February 18th to assemble the 15 race calendar.
