German racing driver, David Beckmann enters a new chapter in his racing career, as he joins Team Trident for the remainder of the 2018 GP3 season. With a pole position and promising pace in the series so far, David looks to thrive in his new partnership as the season continues.
Graduating from a successful joint campaign in Formula 4 in 2015, the Iserlohn-born racer made his debut in European Formula 3 Championship, as one of the youngest ever competitors at the age of 16. During his two-year stint in the competitive series, he earned two podiums and a series of strong points-scoring positions.
Joining the GP3 field for 2018, David now moves to Team Trident to form the successful team’s four-driver line up, alongside Pedro Piquet, Giuliano Alesi, and Ryan Tveter.
