BRDC British F3 race-winner Pavan Ravishankar returns with Double R Racing in 2019

Returning to the paddock for his second season, Infinity Sports Management are proud to confirm that Pavan Ravishankar will once again team up with Double R Racing to contest the 2019 BRDC British Formula 3 Championship.

Following a strong maiden season in Formula 3 machinery where he secured a total of three podiums – including an excellent victory at Silverstone. Pavan returns to the championship-winning team, with sights set on mounting a consistent front-running campaign.

After a successful career in karting, which saw him claim the 2015 Singapore Rotax Open Championship title. Pavan became a multiple podium finisher in Asian Formula Renault where he finished fourth overall in 2016 and he also gained additional single-seater experience in the Indian-based MRF Challenge Formula 2000.

Gaining more experience already in 2019, the Singaporean driver contested F3 Asian Winter Series where he ended the championship fifth in the standings and claimed a podium during the first round at Chang International Circuit in Thailand. His consistency helping to secure the teams championship for his team Hitech GP.

Looking ahead to the new British F3 season, Pavan commented:

“I am absolutely delighted to return to BRDC British F3 with the reigning champions Double R Racing. Throughout 2018, I learnt a tremendous amount from this great team and I’m looking forward to what looks like a very exciting 2019 season for us.”

Double R Racing’s team principal Anthony Hieatt added:

“We really are very pleased indeed to have re-signed Pavan for British F3 this year, it’s fantastic to keep that continuity with a driver for a second season. Pavan’s first win at Silverstone GP was a fantastic result, he did a great job, and he showed his potential with two more podiums as well. Everyone at Double R is looking forward to continuing the great relationship we’ve formed with Pavan since the end of 2017, we’re sure he can have a very strong season.”

Taking place across 8 events, 2019 BRDC British Formula 3 Championship boasts a calendar of iconic British tracks, with Oulton Park playing host when the action kicks off on 20th - 22nd April.
