First stepping into a kart in his native Mexico, Sebastian has forged an impressive karting career. Winning his first title in 2011 in Super Karts Cup México (Cadet Class), the talented young racer moved to contest in SKUSA SuperNationals XVII (TaG Cadet) and Florida Winter Tour Rotax Mini Max events. Claiming victory in the Florida Winter Tour Rotax Mini Max in 2015.
Moving to Europe, Sebastian grew in speed and ability, holding his own in the fiercely competitive CIK-FIA and WSK championships.
2018 saw Sebastian make the transition to single-seaters, teaming up with Double R Racing for FIA Formula 4, the Mexican driver impressed with a series of consistent results and growing ability. Celebrating two rookie podiums, twelve top-10 finishes and a pole position in his first year in car racing.
With experience gained, Sebastian returned in 2019, a title contender from the very beginning. With sensational form, he claimed five wins, 19 podiums and three pole positions, but an unfortunate turn of luck with a DNF in the final race saw him narrowly miss out on the title.
Sebastian had been due to remain with the Double R Racing team in 2020 to make the step up to BRDC Formula 3 Championship. However due to the Coronavirus pandemic he was forced to withdraw from the campaign and took part in no racing in 2020. This year, the talented Mexican will finally make the jump to Formula 3 in 2021, joining Hitech GP.
