Carving his craft in karting from the age of 9, Max learned every inch of what it takes to be a champion as he rose through the ranks. 2014 saw the young Brit take victory in the 25° Trofeo Andrea Margutti - KFJ Class, whilst he also took podiums at WSK Champions Cup, South Garda Winter Cup and Deutsche Junior Kart Meisterschaf Championship.
Graduating to single-seaters in 2016 proved to be Max’s coming of age. In only his first year in car racing, he gave a phenomenal run of form to claim 3 race wins, 14 podiums along the way to being crowned the FIA British F4 champion.
His immense talent catching the eye of Renault Sport Formula 1 Team, who inducted Max into their young driver programme - Renault Sport Academy in 2017. With confidence and talent on his side, Max tackled the 2017 Formula Renault 2.0 Eurocup Championship, earning a victory at the Red Bull Ring on his way to the Rookie title.
2018 season saw Max take his second major junior title. With 6 wins, 11 podiums, 6 pole positions and 6 fastest laps to his campaign, he was crowned Formula Renault Eurocup Champion.
Graduating to the newly-formed FIA Formula 3 Championship in 2019, Max joined ART Grand Prix, where he earned 2 podiums in Austria and Hungaroring.
2020 sees Max join Hitech GP for the 2020 FIA Formula 3 season.

Competing across three different countries last weekend (1-2 August), the Infinity Sports Management drivers totted up a total number of eight podiums between them, including glorious wins in FIA Formula 2, FIA Formula 3 and FR Americas.
August starts brightly for the motorsport calendar as the Infinity Sports Management drivers get ready to race in a variety of locations, some for the first time in their respective championships. FIA F2 and FIA F3 return for action at Silverstone, while other ISM drivers compete at Oulton Park and Donington as well as further afield in Spain and USA.
The Infinity Sports Management drivers celebrated success on track at the Austrian Grand Prix last weekend (03-05 July), with podiums in both FIA F2 and FIA F3. After a nine-month break from racing due to COVID-19, duties resumed at the Red Bull Ring in Austria where racing got the green lights under strict health and safety guidelines. ISM had five drivers competing over the weekend, including several driving making their debuts.
After an epic weekend of racing, Infinity Sports Management stood on the prestigious Macau GP podium with Logan Sargeant in his debut at the Asian street circuit.
Today proved to be the realisation of a childhood dream for Renault Sport Academy driver Max Fewtrell, as he was given the opportunity to drive a Renault Formula 1 car, in a closed test session at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya. Taking to the familiar track, Max’s run aboard the Renault R.S.17, as driven by Nico Hülkenberg, Jolyon Palmer and Carlos Sainz during the 2017 season, comes off the back of his strong success and hard work in his formative career.
