Making his karting debut in 2008, David Beckmann rapidly made a name for himself as a star for the future, finishing 3rd in his first competitive event. Just one year later, he collected major karting wins in his native Germany, including ADAC Kart Masters and DMV Landesmeisterschaft Bambini Class.
Rising through the ranks, David went on to earn national and international karting titles, Bridgestone Cup Europe and DMV Kart Championship - KF3 Class in 2012, before claiming the Deutsche Junior Kart Meisterschaft Championship in 2014.
In 2015, Beckmann graduated to single seaters in ADAC Formula 4 and Italian F4, teaming up with Mücke Motorsport. Tackling his rookie year head on, he completed the season with commendable success, finishing fourth in Italian F4 and fifth in ADAC Formula 4 respectively. Further placing as the best rookie in the ADAC championship.
Refining his racecraft in the FIA F3 Championship in 2016 and 2017, David gained valuable experience and earned two podiums along the way.
2018 saw David make the switch to GP3 Series, which proved to be the perfect move for the young German. Impressing with his talents early on, David secured a seat at Trident at the midway point in the season. From there, he went on take 3 victories, 4 podiums, 2 pole positions. Consistently challenging at the sharp end of the grid, helped him to end the season, 5th in the overall standings.
The weekend proved to be another successful one in the books for Infinity Sports Management, with two drivers taking their maiden wins in FIA F3 and British Formula 4.
Competing across three different countries last weekend (1-2 August), the Infinity Sports Management drivers totted up a total number of eight podiums between them, including glorious wins in FIA Formula 2, FIA Formula 3 and FR Americas.
August starts brightly for the motorsport calendar as the Infinity Sports Management drivers get ready to race in a variety of locations, some for the first time in their respective championships. FIA F2 and FIA F3 return for action at Silverstone, while other ISM drivers compete at Oulton Park and Donington as well as further afield in Spain and USA.
The Infinity Sports Management drivers celebrated success on track at the Austrian Grand Prix last weekend (03-05 July), with podiums in both FIA F2 and FIA F3. After a nine-month break from racing due to COVID-19, duties resumed at the Red Bull Ring in Austria where racing got the green lights under strict health and safety guidelines. ISM had five drivers competing over the weekend, including several driving making their debuts.
