Tim Tramnitz

Since his first taste of competitive racing in 2011, Tim Tramnitz has rapidly risen through the junior ranks with impressive results.

Learning his craft in local karting championships in his native Germany, Tim went on to win both Hamburg and Norddeutsche Kart-Challenge in 2013 and 2014 before stepping up to challenge on a national scale. Following a string of competitive results in Rotax Mini Max and X30 Junior classes, he claimed overall victory in the ADAC Kart Academy series in 2017 and was named as ADAC Stiftung Sport protégé.

Making the graduation to single-seaters in 2020, the Hamburg-driver followed in the tyre tracks of many current Formula 1 drivers by tackling the ADAC Formula 4 Championship. It was here where he proved himself to be one of the most competitive racers in the field, with one victory, 6 podiums and scoring points in all but one race. Tim finished the year as the best rookie and finished 4th in the championship standings.

In 2021 Tim contested a sensational dual campaign across German ADAC F4 and Italian Formula 4 Championships with US Racing. Despite not contesting all rounds of the Italian F4 calendar, Tim’s impressive form saw him claim 4 wins, 9 podiums and 2 fastest laps, whilst further scoring 5 wins, 5 pole positions, 9 podiums and 3 fastest laps in the ADAC F4 Championship respectively.

His run of strong results saw him finish the year as vice-champion in both series.

2022 sees the young German racer step up to Formula Regional European Championship with Trident.
